To celebrate Tina and Colin’s 60th Wedding Anniversary, Colin has gone through all of his vast collection of rhubarb plants and found this one hiding, and it is stunning! Stands out brilliantly, and is one he considers worthy of this celebration.
It’s a TOTALLY different breeding line from anything he has ever sold before. Bright red all year as it’s a perennial, a real stunner.
Grows and picks well, and is disease and wind resistant. Heavy frosts have no effect on it, and it stands up well to the extreme heat. However, as it’s new, no trials have been done for it in the tropics, or in snow, or in freezing ground.
